·         Setting, running and maintaining Muller 300 and 305 saddle stitching lines.

·         Responsible for the binding and despatch of magazines and tabloid papers to very tight deadlines.

Steel Linings Ltd.

Sept 1988 to May 1993

Design manufacture and installation of raised access flooring systems.

Works Manager

·         Member of a team, which designed, built and installed a £2 million production line.

·         Presented the solution to allow continuous lamination of steel onto wood panels enabling higher production rates.

·         Planning of production systems to ensure safety and quality assurance.

·         Trained and motivated staff to achieve targets safely and consistently.

·         Set up drawing office with “Autocad” System, hardware and software including the training of staff.
